Hello jwinn -

Magmasoft would use our existing driver - but the application needs the ability to recognize input from a 3d device. Their software code is proprietary so only Magmasoft developers can add 3d device support.

We suggest contacting Magmasoft Customer Service to request that 3d device support be added in future versions of their software. It is often the level of interest from customers that affects such decisions.

Also, our beta driver allows our devices to be used in applications that do not recognize 3d devices. With the beta driver you can set up a profile to allow your 3Dconnexion device to act like a 2d mouse, keyboard or joystick. If you use a combination of 2d mouse and keystrokes to navigate in Magmasoft, you can set up a profile to emulate that.
