Cadmouse wireless polling rate

Post by Cristian » Sun May 19, 2019 9:05 pm

Hello everyone, my first post on the forum
I've been using the wireless cadmouse for a few months now. I'm having an issue with the low polling rate of the mouse when it is conected via the wireless adapter ( around 250 MHz) . When I'm drafting in 2D and I try to do fast moves, the mouse lags . Is there a way to set the polling rate higher , like when the mouse is connected via the USB cable (500-1000 MHz), even if the battery life will be shortened !
PS. I'm using Windows 10, latest drivers and the USB dongle is very close to the mouse, around 60 cm.

Hi Cristian,

You could change the polling rate by following these steps:
- Open 3Dconnexion Home
- Make sure the device is selected on top
- Click on Advanced Settings
- Changed the Sensor Polling Rate

That's how you could switch the polling rate for the CadMouse or any other 3DMouse

Thanks

Hi Cristian,

when connected with the receiver the polling rate is limited to 125 Hz due to technical reasons. The higher rates are available only when the device is connected with the cable to the computer.
