SpacePilot Pro, Blender, Arch Linux, 3dConnextion Driver

Post by BigMan200 » Tue Dec 29, 2015 10:20 am

Hi,
finally I got the driver for my SpacePilot Pro from http://www.3dconnexion.de/service/drivers.html on my Arch Linux system up and running.
After starting the driver manually with $ sudo /etc/3DxWare/daemon/3dxsrv -d USB, I start FreeCad and the SpacePilot works.
But when I start Blender the SpacePilot doesn't react at all.

My Blender Version is 2.76b

I already read tons of websites, but either it's about a Blender Plugin which shouldn't be required for my Blender Version or it's about the SpaceNav-Driver, which I don't want to use (am happy that I got finally the 3dConnexion-Driver running).

Any ideas, what I could do?
